The monthly chapter meeting of the Itawamba FFA Chapter is held during the school day to provide members with opportunities to stay informed, engaged, and involved in chapter activities. During the meeting, chapter officers conduct official business using proper meeting procedures, including the opening ceremony, reading of minutes, officer reports, old and new business, and closing ceremony.
Members receive updates on upcoming events, contests, leadership opportunities, and community service activities. The meeting also includes member recognition, announcements, and occasional guest speakers or educational segments related to agriculture, leadership, or career development.
These meetings provide members with opportunities to develop leadership, communication, and teamwork skills while actively participating in a structured organization. Students practice professionalism, active listening, and respectful participation while engaging in chapter decisions and activities.
